SAVE A NATION CAMPAIGN

Imperial College Islamic Society in conjuction with Ramadhan has launched a campaign called Save A Nation. The aim of the campaign is to collect at least £ 10,000 to be given to the needy poeple of Afganistan. Up to today, 4 December 2001, the collection has been only £4000 pounds. AKMATYS has given its full support for the campaign, and hopefully you will contribute to the cause. Any donation is welcomed. The amount is not important, what is important is your realisation of the tragic situation there and your effort to make the life of our brothers and sisters there easier.

The last event Run for a Nation which will be held on 12 December 2001 is . The run which will take place in Hyde Park will be starting at 3pm. The aim of the run is to raise money in sponsorship from any company or individual. The actual run is just around the round pound infront of the Kensington Palace.
