Mind's

Hypocrites
Hypocrisy
Sounds familiar? What are
these words anyway?
They are said to mean insincerity, in terms of friendship,
people who practise this are just not worth to call friends.
But on the other hand, could one just end a friendship like
that based on insincere incidents?
In
friendships, none of it will be perfect. Don't expect it to
be, because friendships are formed by acts of human, and no
humans are perfect too. A true friend is hard to get, personally,
I do not believe in it, though I do think that we can very
often get good friends coming in and out of our lives.
Friends
are meant to be remembered and appreciated. There are times
when you give, and at other times, you take, never ever be
one sided about this philosophy, because maybe that is how
friendships go wrong. It never feels nice to always keep giving
without receiving anything back. This is human nature, one
tends to feel the strains of the 'friendship' when one is
the only one on the giving side, that is when acts of hypocrisy
may occur, or the one on the receiving side will just lose
one of most beautiful relationship a friend can get.
For
me, it does not hurt that much to criticise others once in
a while, That is how others improve themselves. But it is
bad to talk bad about someone, as in really degrading them,
behind their backs while acting like you are their best friend
while mingling with them. So, a dose of hypocrisy, anyone?
I doubt it

So many blessings to count,
But sorrow triumphs once more,
Tears flow when no one knows,
Muffled sobs no one notices,
But relief nowhere in sight.
Sweet,
cheerful on the surface,
Just beneath
empty.
Best
friends left behind,
Heart choked with loneliness,
Clinging; a burden
To the one pillar of support.
Words
of advice uttered,
Comforting
for the moment.
I
used to be somebody,
Everyone knew, everyone turn to,
Now just one in the shadows,
My own fault, true.
Is
this how life will be?
Will time bring more change?
Change for the better?
But
true friendship is formed slowly,
Drop by drop,
'Til the heart runs over.
Another Droplet
